Oh, there’s a storm coming, Earl!

Um, good recovery. At least for the time being. I wonder who is going to get the blame for Nelson’s new sweater.

hmm I don’t believe Nelson took the clothes out of the washer and/or dryer. This doesn’t really make any sense. (unless she’s working up the storm)

I thought it must have been Opal who gave the sweater to Nelson when she noticed it was his size. Did she think that she had put it in the dryer? Hmmmm…

They live in Frostproof, FL? My last storm left 4" of snow in my driveway.

The best way to recover from mistakes is to be the first one to mention them. Always point out your mistake and apologize before others have a chance to notice the mistake. When others see that you recognize your mistake and are sorry for it, they have more sympathy for you and what you did. Earl is old enough that he should have learned this by now.
