“Yes” worked well that time a woman got on the bus and paused at the first seated person—me—to ask, “Have you been saved?” My “Yes” started what turned out to be a fascinating conversation with her, which lasted until the bus reached her stop. Plus, it “saved” everyone else on the bus. :-)
