Scram, cat! And I’m not lion.

Sorry buddy, gotta clear the street ‘cause there’s a parade coming.

Always patriotic, Bozo is the flag bearer!

    1. Playing with the puddy tat.

    2. Try coming outta bigger manhole, fatso.

    3. Me salute!

And a big salute to Fabulous FoXo for his Brilliant BOZO!

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so beautifully and brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

Fabulous FoXo may be unfortunately unsung these days but it not make him any less fabulous.

FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning!

BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! More about FoXo and BOZO in the About page.

So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many many more!

And yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer, the brilliantly beautiful and beautifully brilliant BOZO!

Guess, the lion sleeps (quite well) tonight…

    2. Is the manhole way too tight?

For this whole man, Bozo can… help, right?

    3. Let independence grow and pride

I want to add here if I might:

    “CARRY” ON BOZO!

WHO’S CHASING WHOM- For a smoker, Bozo has great lung and heart health to be able to out run and chase a lion, while smoking his cigar. HELPING HAND- This city is noted for it’s open man holes, but lucky Bozo is there to help the citizens either in or out of those manholes. INDEPENDESE DAY= Bozo gets a great view of the Military marching in the parade, so good that one service man used his bayonet to give our hero a better view. (This one reminds me of Bozo dressing in his uniform and gets in trouble for his ribbons. Stolen Valor, but Bozo did serve.)

    1) The lion needed the exercise and Bozo was looking to hone his chase scene skills.

    2) Well, if Bozo can’t pull him up, he might as well push him down!

    3) Hitch Bayonets!

What really amazes me about Bozo is the detailed art.

Yes, there is no color, but look at the soldiers marching.

    Imagine drawing that…

    1) ☂️❤️ Fuzzy looks like someone looking for a lost contact lens. ☺ Actually, the first corneal lenses were developed in 1949, and didn’t become a thing until the 60’s, so he’s probably looking for a dime he dropped.

    2) Well, you are not stuck anymore, are you?

    3) That’s a privileged position, Bozo! ☺

Mr. Fuzzy: In the 1st strip Fuzzy Wuzzy is in the 2nd panel running away from the lion as fast as he can. Go Fuzzy! Go Fuzzy! Go!

In the 2nd strip, he notices the copper, Billy the Club. Officer Club is so distracted by Bozo’s antics that Fuzzy can run away unscathed.

The last strip: I can nary find him. Anyone with better eyes than me, which is pretty much everybody, let me know where the Fuzzer is.

I have one observation to make. Why are all of the soldiers wearing German helmets?

The lion’s face in the first strip shows the detail that FoXo puts into the strip. The first panel shows the anger the lion has. In the second one, one knows the lion is hungry and is laser focused on his next meal. The third one, the lion’s expression changes in the three images going from I am going to eat someone, around 11 o’clock position, to a concern look, at 6 o’clock, to a panicked look, at the 1 o’clock position. In panel four he is in full panic. It is also interesting that Bozo does not look like he is chasing the lion rather that he is still running away, but because his eyes are closed, he does not realize that he is behind the lion. Unfortunately, in today’s comic pages, details like this would be lost since newspapers keep shrinking the comics.
