The turtle is boring.

And here I thought this was all about sex.. little snail having a go at a big mama.

I once saw a turtle outrun a dog. Of course the race ended suddenly when the dog came to the end of his leash. But still even for those 10 feet, I was surprised that the turtle could run at all.

We once got stuck in an ice storm on I95. It took us 23 hours to go 8 miles! We had come from a cruise, and my son had bought a stuffed sloth in Costa Rica. It was on the dash. While we were sitting there I would pick it up and make him say “Come ON, will ya! MOVE it!” Then, when traffic started moving along at 8 miles an hour, I had him wave his arms and go “WOOOOO HOOOO!!!” Yes. It was a LONG ride.

Tortoises get jealous when they see how fast a turtle can scamper into the water.
