The Shake has something to say about everything. Like “Beware the ides of March!”

King John, act three, seen one. And I am mildly kicking myself, because I didn’t recognize it. I have a thing about Shakespeare, but it let me down this time. Congratulations to Jimmy Johnson for knowing that obscure play so well— unless he just looked in a quotes database for something about sunshine.

When Janis asked “Did you start…” I thought she was going to continue with “drinking early again?”

What is Alchemy? I know it’s turning lead to gold, but what else does it do? I remember a The Twilight Zone episode where some guys robbed a gold shipment. Him and his cohorts traveled ahead in time to escape the law. The guys had a fight and two of the three killed each other. The last man standing needed medical care and tried to pay people to take him to a doctor. He offered them a gold brick. They looked at him like he was crazy. At that time gold was as valuable as a piece of paper.

I found something good about DST. I kept wanting to wake up a 7AM and kept waking at 6AM and laying there. Now, I wake up at 7, like I wanted.

Surely Edgar Allan Poe must have something good to say about sunrise.

We managed to actually change all the time pieces which do not change on the 12th – other than our vehicles which change on their own – except my watch. Battery ran out in the watch in mid 2020 and did not buy a battery until late last year and still have not put it in the watch. Have not needed to use the watch since Covid started as not going anywhere where I need to what time it is to keep track of what I am doing other than home and there is a clock in every room.

On the other hand – my mom is in a nursing home and my sister did not get there until this past Thursday to update mom’s watch.
