I saw a robin yesterday. All fluffed up against the cold.

Last week, my annual visitors, a mated pair of mallards stopped by the pool for a swim and a snack on their return trip north.

Spring? It’s cold and rainy here in Vegas.

Not ’til the snow in my front yard melts.

MLB Opening Day is just 10 days away. That’s when I start going barefoot whenever possible!

I think those are UNofficial, mostly. But I did walk out today WITHOUT a coat to put the trash out. Got my hair a little damp, but not actually all that wet.

What type of bird likes a baseball?

Its 28 F in Birmingham AL! I’m ready for a little heat, even if Basketball season isn’t over!

Gonna be in the 50s today, nice and spring like. I don’t see robins though. I have the first cat of spring! This feral cat disappears in fall and shows up again in spring. Saw her yesterday.

Robins are around here all winter. Not sure what that is that they find in the grass.

Out for a bike ride yesterday, I needed three layers for the cold; but the sunshine brought out a couple signs of spring: the skimpy halter top and the mini-skirt.

For a second there I thought they were throwing the bird… O_O

I do not know whether robins migrate or not, but they were here in Arizona’s mountains last month, February. If they migrate north you should be seeing them.

Still cold here in Oklahoma and no, I didn’t know there was more than one first day of Spring.
