“Hey! If someone’s been out here to post these signs …?” “You been to a museum lately? Got any idea how often they get maintained? Or have the money for it? Like, once a decade?” “Dang.”
School my daughters attended took them on 3rd grade trips to state historical society. When I accompanied daughter #1 on her trip I noticed a misspelling on an exhibit sign. Reported it to a curator, who assured me it would be changed. Two years later it was still there when I chaperoned again. The sign was for a McGuffey spelling book.

Now let me get this straight;
You put the lime in the coconut
You drank them both up
put the lime in the coconut,
you drank them both up
put the lime in the coconut,
called your doctor, woke him up, and said,
“Doctor, ain’t there nothing I can take”
I said, Doctor, to relieve this belly ache?"
I said, Doctor, ain’t there nothin’ I can take"
I said, Doctor, to relieve this belly ache?"

All you need is some limes to get rid of this ear worm!

Is this a subtle double reference to Ernie Bushmiller’s recurrent three rocks in his old comic strip, “Nancy”?

If I hear the term “curated content” one more time… well, I usually I just tune it out. But this strip nails it.

Margaret Dumont: Get out of this room, or I’ll scream for the servants.
Groucho: Let the servants know! Let the whole world know! About us!
Margaret Dumont: You must leave my room. We must have regard for certain conventions.
Groucho: One guy isn’t enough, she’s gotta have a convention.

Rule of coconut palms: DON’T stand under the tree. If a coconut doesn’t hit you, one of the dead fronds will.
