    Fun fact, sharks cannot “sleep” in the sense that humans do, because if they stopped moving through the water, and therefor moving water over their gills, they wouldn’t be able to breathe. Instead, they shut down half their brain at a time, going into a kind of meditative twilight state for a period of time.
