A weak punchline that in honesty, made no sense. She could’ve said something like, “I hate the Kardashians” or something to make it funnier.

never kept up with the Kardashians myself, Daphne (yes, Nate, you are a coward)

When it comes to girls at that age, it can be very rough for guys getting into the mating ritual routine, especially at school dances. A single guy approaching a gaggle of girls across the auditorium required bravery above and beyond the call of duty, even more so when the girl you asked to dance said no. The longest mile was that 50 ft or so you walked away back to your personal safety position after that rejection. I understand Nate’s dilemma at this moment. This too shall pass however……

This kinda sucks. Peirce is drawing out this arc way longer than it needs to be.

Strip rating: 2/10 I didn’t even know what a Kardashian was until I read this.

How come Nate’s confidence talking to girls he likes is gone now.

What’s a Kardashian? Why would one want a favorite one? Who cares?

Yeah, so this is what I meant about bad pop culture refs. Kinda cringe, Pierce.

I don’t mind Nate chickening out, or the extension of the arc, it’s realistic, but if the joke doesn’t land, it doesn’t.

2/10, shy Nate is the one saving grace.

Overall week rating: 36/60. Solid enough to get past the average, but a definite step down seeing as a lot of it was without jokes, and not the biggest bangers either. Week 4 is okay, I guess. Onto week 5!
