I have to wonder how many of that school’s parents who can afford the five digit annual tuition own an armory of weapons, don’t trust the government and are willing to fight to protect their second amendment rights without limitations.

How do you think Jesus feels about politicians who refuse to address the leading cause of childhood death, gun violence?

A modicum of solace for believers. However, requiring ATF Form 4 approval for ALL gun purchases would save lives by keeping guns out of the hands of the crazies AND ALSO, people who pass that presumably rigorous test could still own their precious AR-15 style weapons. WIN WIN! And yes, it would depend on the ATF Form 4 tests being rigorously applied but to that I ask “How many school shootings have been committed with full auto weapons?” None to my knowledge so it works. It would just have to work on a larger scale.

Who is the guy in the background? I see he was likely crucified, based on the holes in the arms. Is anyone aware of Biblical references to a crucified white guy greeting you in heaven after you die? Or is he another shooting victim?

The covenant is between adults and children. Adults promise to keep children safe, to educate them, to love and care for them until they mature and are adults themselves. Doesn’t matter who the adult is. Family, friends, educators, government officials… seems conservatives don’t agree.

Hard to understand how anyone can equate school shootings with abortion; it’s just a deflection tactic. Three adults, three children….no clumps of cells.

And for those who think this shooting had anything to do with the fact that one shooter out of how-many-dozens of mass shooters was trans….first I’ll point out that this is one shooter out of how-many-dozens.

Secondly, he went to a religious school which doubtlessly cast people like him as worthless or worse. Could this have made him angry? Resentful? Or loved, like the supreme being is supposed to love all his creatures? How could he be a mistake if the supreme being doesn’t make mistakes? Where’s the nearest gun shop?

And for those who bleat about “taking away guns from responsible gun owners”, is it possible for you to admit—even in private—that there are some gun owners who are actually NOT responsible, and that there are some who legally have purchased arsenals who are incidents just waiting to happen?

Dear Gary. As much as I completely follow you in your belief in Christ, at the same time I feel that this cartoon is horrific. With the American school shootings (and some politicians’ reluctance to do something about it) in mind, I’m afraid you’ve made it even harder for people to hold on to a Christian belief. Are we really supposed to feel joyful for the murder of children?! We can hardly blame anyone for being tempted to turn away with disgust.

How stupid does a grown person have to be, to believe such nonsense? And how vile, to use the death of children to further their cause?
