Oh, it’s not lonely, Aunty. There’s a whole left-wing political party over there. Screaming.

That’s fine with me. Anyone who is so easily offended should be alone so they won’t be offended more nor offend more reasonable people.

That’s why we call them snowflakes. They melt at everything.

It’s not an island any longer, Aunty. It’s a continent (sigh).

But there is over crowding on “I’m offended by Auntie” Island.

Lonely? Not likely, everybody is on the island.

It does seem like that. Folks taking offense where none was implied or intended. The Eagles in their song Get Over It were on to something.

Funny how it’s the So-Called Conservatives that are living on that island now.

Deplorables are keeping themselves company, being offended by anything and everything, including a face of their former favorite beer can.

I pride myself on being almost impossible to offend.

With regards to comments about me, you could be right. In which case I will own it and get on with it. I won’t deny it or justify it by stating other people are worse or project it back on you.

On the other hand, you could be wrong and I know better.

As far as things other people do, they usually don’t offend me either because it’s usually not my business. I have enough of my own problems to work out, thank you.

Then there is the bottom line. What makes you think your opinion matters to me?

About the only time I take offense is when other people are mean to other people. I do like to pick on these people. Normally, it’s low hanging fruit and I guess in some cases I could be accused of bullying.

It is actually humorous to realize how many people cannot see themselves well enough to realize they are on the island.

I disagree. I will comfortably bet that it’s significantly overcrowded there.
