Get that girl a drum set!!

Ahem, Mike, I’d take that hammer away from April. It has two claws that are potentially harmful to April’s safety. I know of a child who raised the hammer a bit too high that it slipped and landed on top of his head. He had a concussion. He was about the same age as April.

Working on relaxing. It’s a dirty job, but somebody has to do it.

Until she actually comes outside and finds nothing done.

April is getting good, early practice into becoming a ‘rock’ and roll musician in a house band.

“If she only had a hammer. She’d hammer in the morning and all over this land. About the love between her brother and her sister! Oh yeah! Love, if they only had a hammer.”

This facade won’t last long.

April makes me think of my daughter when she was that age – a lot of the same facial expressions and far too many of the same behaviors. She’s 37 now…

I can think of a thousand reasons why you shouldn’t let a toddler play with a hammer.

I had a set of child sized real tools when I was April’s age. My father set me to work straightening nails. Took me hours to get one done, but I was so proud.

Just another useful little trick Michael has learned from the grownups in this world.

I’m sure she knows better…

Seems to me April is very spoiled!

Someday there’ll be a strip that the commentators don’t take seriously and criticize the behavior and character of at least one of the cartoon characters and……ah, who am I kidding?

LOL… Mike is the perfect big brother. Some things never change.

You know, I’ve discovered, over the years, that I have done a lot of work trying to look like I’m working without really doing the stuff I am supposed to do.
