I love dogs; they’re never critical or judgmental!!
Years ago, I was petting a golden retriever whose young owner was waking him, and I commented that it be a great world with fewer people and more dogs!
My dog is losing some hearing. On occasion when I come home she isn’t at the door yet. I have a little panic feeling until she finally shows up. She obviously doesn’t sleep against the door like Farley does, instead sleeping on her blanket on the sofa. I can tell. It will be warm.
Even though I had two cats, I grew up with dogs and they’re always happy to see you when you come home! Cats are glad to see you too but they show it in a different way.

A rare Farley comic strip. Look at the detail work in the fur. The artist was taking her time on this one.

Careful, Mike. He is a senior dog. Do you realize he grew old with you since you were 5 years old on the strip?

Farley, is the epitome of the proverbial ‘faithful, family dog’ that everybody that wants a dog wants to have—either him or ‘Marmaduke’ ! ! !

Although my Cocker Spaniel is named Buzz, I call him Wigglebutt because he does wiggle everything when I come home.

That’s my dog, and she makes me laugh every day. Dogs are faithful and they love you, what more can you ask, just love them back and keep them safe.

Two of mine come to the gate, the other waits on the sofa/bed for me to greet her!

Just another case of the Tail wagging the dog.

I often wish I was as active and playful as my dogs seem to think I am. They can get 5 minutes of wiggling and play out of a hand on their heads.

Most dogs do greet their human with a “whole body” wiggle. They are so much fun to watch and participate.
