Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I won’t ask if high schoolers listen to Cab Calloway. Some young people are into all kinds of fun stuff. So I accept the premise. The question becomes what was the Cab Calloway number? I’m going with Reefer Man but it might be The Viper Drag
Return of The Kaz! My prediction: By the time football season comes around (sometime in November in Thorpland), Kaz will quit his Milford Youth Program Coordinator gig and side hustle as leg breaker for a certain gentleman in Goshen (how else can he afford a toney penthouse in Milford’s warehouse district) and return to being the Mudlark’s assistant coach again. Just in time to help Gil extract revenge upon Luke Martinez and reclaim the Valley championship. Or not.
Poor Gil, basically a shrunken troll now. Hopefully he’ll bounce back tomorrow. And speaking of tomorrow, you don’t have to wait until tomorrow to read a new edition of Mopped Up Thorp.
So…we don’t get to see the baseball game? Or was the softball game we did see played at the baseball field, despite the fact the two sports have different dimensions? (And why the hell is Kaz living in a penthouse…?)

When did Thorp become a dwarf?

When did Kaz start hanging out with Beatniks? (That’s very trendy and modern, for Milford!)

It’s Punchline Theater today…punchlines only. If I could walk that way, I wouldn’t need the talcum powder.

Is he talking about Florian “Zip” Gust — good field no hit regular in our strip’s first 3 years?

Find high school kid who’s ever heard of Cab Calloway, let alone anything he ever wrote. Another one-day arc.

Never knew any teachers-coaches who lived in a Penthouse. Kaz must have a great side-hustle.

Zip must have been an New York Islanders fan. I think they play “Minnie the Moocher” at least once a game there.

Gil thinks that he was invited over because he’s kaz’s friend, but really it’s because he’s easy entertainment for kaz’s real friends

P-1 &2 magic: The lights appear to be on in One, but we find out it’s an illusion in Two.
P-3: Wait till Kaz finds out that Gil is getting even by dropping a deuce on the sofa.

“That’s when Gil told Zip’s father ‘Either your signature or you’re brains will be on that contract’.”

Zip came across “Reefer Man” on the net and lost his mind.

Gil sure looks like he’s having a great time. He’s nursing his last bottle of Hoo for the road.
