    I always try to find soap, lotion or candles with that scent at Bath & Body Works. They used to have one called ā€œRainkissed leavesā€, but they discontinued it. They now have one called ā€œFresh Rainfallā€, which is very pleasantly scented, too.

    There is a Bloom County strip where Opus comments about loving the smell after a rain, and Oliver informs him that it is petrichor, an oil produced by plant feces. If you google Bloom County petrichor, you can find it. Itā€™s one of my favorite Bloom County strips.
