DeSantis is losing traditional Repubs by moving away from the traditional party platform of small government and instead attacking people on the basis of their gender, sexuality, etc. His costing of the state not only Disney but the business of other corporations who now won’t do business in the state is anathema to the traditionalists.

Of the research I have looked at, most right leaning definitions of woke were discredited by others who were also right leaning. The one I found in dictionaries (better hide them the book burners don’t like words in there); indicated that Woke represents those who are “alert to racial prejudice and discrimination”. It would take a complete moron to admit they are not woke which seems to be most republican’s goal. Good comic Clay!

Well, consider the other part of this. Disney has been financially strapped. Its movies have BOMBED, the streaming services are not making anywhere near what they were projected to, the Star Wars hotel was a boondoggle.

The parks are doing pretty well (even if you do need a second mortgage to pay for a family to go to one). The company is having a lot of financial trouble. Why would they invest when they’re hemorrhaging money and laying thousands off left and right. They are laying off 7,000 by summer.

So whether DeSantis is the point or not, this cartoon and numerous posters here, ignore the reality that company is facing some significant financial problems.

When De Santis declares for President,how many professional yawners can we hire to sit in the front row?
