This is the perfect GOP and “Christian” nationalist platform. Trick the stupid people into thinking that they will get ahead, then when they fall on their faces, blame them. If that person climbing the stairs had only had enough faith, he could have flown off with the rest of the imaginary examples presented by the conmen. It is totally sad that white “Christian” nationalism has so little to do with what Jesus taught, and actually drives people away from turning their lives over to Jesus as Lord and Savior. No one can serve two masters; for a person will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
