Seagull has a persona—gullsona—for all her activities! LOL

Dear Rose’s mother,

Stop over scheduling your kid. Kids need downtime too, especially in the summer.

She’s going to look back on this all some day and wonder when she had a little raw fun…

I especially like seagull with glasses and shades on. Panels 3 and 5.

Rose’s folks have her so busy, she never has time for fun.

Don’t forget to pencil in time for eating and sleeping.

She’s one of those overbooked kids, but at least she seems to love what she does.

My mother did that to my brother and I one summer. I had no time to goof off until school started and then even the cancer ward was strenuous.

Is there really such a thing as “brain camp”??
