I was fortunate that my grades were good enough that I didn’t have to do Summer School…

Nobody likes summer school.

The only time I went to summer school was as a graduate student. Scheduling problems.

Whoopie!

Until I was old enough for working papers, I spent most of the summer “working” for my father, who was the principal. Clean up and pack away the used textbooks, stamp in the new ones. It was cool and quiet in the building (air conditioning wasn’t common in homes) and my very young siblings weren’t underfoot.

Hope it’s not the idiot who cut your funding.

As if people don’t love summer school. Safe from the sunburn, distractive bikinis, great white sharks, germ swapping,…

I really hope they’re parked.

Anybody who says they liked summer school is a liar
