Considering Dana designed Phoebe’s parents as a complete antithesis to Calvin’s parents, what do you think would happen if Calvin and Phoebe switched parents for a day?

How well do you think Ethan would rank on Calvin’s dad polls?

I remember those days. Just not remembering how I survived on imagination alone.XD

Did have a TV in my room at most. Though didn’t get cable until the 90s.

Couldn’t Ethan just text Phoebe what he was saying?

The problem was never technology. There has always been escapism, and there always will be.

When I was Phoebe’s age, I stared at words in books all day, which is somehow better than staring at words on a phone?

Cell phones are a distraction, I have one but I misplace it a lot!

Back in my day, none of our video games were online; you had to play them next to someone else, and you could punch your brother in the shoulder if you thought he was looking at your side of the screen.

I often mistake my wife’s slippers for the cat.

This one of the many reasons why I refer to “smartphones” as StupidPhones™. People are dumbing themselves down by becoming over-reliant and addicted to these ridiculous devices. The sad part is they are doing this voluntarily.

Phoebe’s parents have a few family rules, so I bet Calvin wouldn’t like it there any better than at home. Calvin is constantly searching for the pure anarchic environment.

Many adults that should know better, don’t. It’s why we are doomed. Next trend are those goggles that let you live in a false/fantasy world, only they will be reduced in size to regular glasses….

When I was Phoebe’s age, the only thing on the phone was a dial, and you didn’t carry it around because it was stuck on the wall, or connected by a cord! We didn’t even have video games, until a little later when some store lobbies had Pong, Space Invaders, Pac Man…

I remember the late 90s and early 2000s.

Yeah there were no phones like these, so for me it was tv, PC games, and eventually ps2 games which also was backwards compatible to ps1.

other than that I don’t really know what I did.

life was hard and ugly enough with a lot of other problems and heartbreak that I didn’t really think about entertainment.

games were limited back then and I was always dreaming of how they might become like they are now.

I will tell you one thing and that’s how I sort of wish Phoebe And her unicorn was around back then.
