Roscoe i see the training of, Earl is going well.

It’s nice when humans, like Earl, save a place and warm up the furniture for their pets, like Roscoe.

We encouraged Miss Kitty to sit on the chair to get harnessed up before we would go for a walk. Gradually, WE got as tired of that harness as she did. But she still sits in the chair to ask for a walk. And yes, she does understand “go for a walk” when either of us speaks it.

Oh, come on Roscoe. Put Earl on the leash and take him for a walk!!!

Our dog Maggie lets me know when she has to go out to pee or poop. If she has to pee she will lick my hand/s. If she has to poop she will come up to me and show me her butt while looking at me grinning! I understand her ways of communicating with me. :-)

they’re speaking different languages lol but Earl doesn’t seem fluent in “Opal” either!

Roscoe knows how to get what he wants by waiting for Earl to guess what he wants…

My dog does exactly the same!

If Earl stares long enough, maybe Roscoe will get out of the chair. NOT !

I have a cat that does that. In fact he did just now.

I hope you have another chair or the sofa, Earl, because Roscoe has staked his claim!

Our dog did that to me, once. I scooted him onto the floor, and he was mad at me for a couple hours.

Humans think they own pets, but it’s really the other way around.

This comic would be my cat…she runs to the door and meows, and when I get up to let her out, she jumps in my chair (which is now nice and warm).

I used to have a co-worker who said that to customers as well as us. Used the same tone that I used with my dog. I never responded when she did. Made her mad. Too bad.

Right now, my dog is staring at me just like Roscoe. I would think she wants my seat, but she has her own and we settled that a long time ago. She’s been out, it’s past her fall asleep on the couch time, and yet she’s just staring at me like she thinks I will give her tomorrow’s breakfast 12 hours early. I am baffled.

Our cat will stand in front of the door when she wants out or sit by her food bowl when she wants more added to it.

If you want the best seat in the house, you’ll have to move the dog.
