I thought it was a fear of people who use Latin words and phrases for no reason.

seems like there is a lot of ergophobia going around!

Well, it’s a GREAT week. This week I’ve learned rusticle AND ergophobia.

If everyone goes home for this then it be ergonomic crisis.

Somebody once said that the only phobia we should have is phobophobia (yes, that’s a thing), although he may have worded it differently.

I’m impressed that Rat was able to receive disability so quickly and easily.

Can you give us some five letter words?

When I was in Junior High, my English teacher assigned us vocabulary words to look up in the dictionary and then report on them to the class. I hated it at the time, but I eventually learned the spelling and meaning of a lot words, so much so, that I became the “family dictionary.”

I would say he’s got it right!

Rat isn’t afraid of working, he’s just super lazy.

The Health Department is going to close Joe’s Roastery because it has rats there.

coffee should not double as a dessert… if it has more grams of sugar then it does caffeine, Rat should pay you a visit

Well that was inspiring

Lots of millennial liberals hanging around the coffee shop have that thus why they hang around the coffee shop and spout pseudo intellectual crap and conspiracy theories.

You shouldn’t have picked that word out, pal, now Rat’s gonna use it as an excuse to continuously skip working.

I thought a phobia was an irrational fear of something. But it’s perfectly rational to fear work. Therefore Rat doesn’t have ergophobia. Therefore he he has to keep working. (Apologies to Joseph Heller).

It got ugly in my house this morning

1- fancy Keurig we have had for years is stuck in alarm mode.

2- Smaller one we rescued from estate clean up won’t do anything more than flash lights

3- One cup travel Keurig that was buried in basement came to rescue. We bought that one during travels because Motel Coffee is, well it is (Insert complaint here)

Makes me feel guilty for not working a full time job any longer. There are people out there with serious cases of ergophobia who are depending on me to pull their weight!

Too much of that going around!!

I can’t say for certain but I suspect that if you picked a word out of the dictionary at random you’d almost certainly end up with a word everyone knows already, like “ belt” or “knock.”

Well, at least Joe didn’t require Rat to use it with the customers. That one would be rather hard to work into casual conversation.

That went over better than most management ideas.

Once again, Rat shows how a little knowledge in the wrong hands can be a dangerous thing.

Assuming he still wants Rat’s services, smarmy Manager should regret having chosen that Word of the Day….
