Lost in Space…now I’ve got the John (or Johnny as he was known then) Williams theme running through my head!

“Alien disguised itself as a cricket” – that made me chuckle. Thanks!

No. Based on the sound, I believe it was an alien cricket.

That’s what THEY want you to think. Apparently ’It’s a well known fact.’ Simplistic, repeative, and emotional.

If aliens ever did show up, the biggest problem would be communication. There’s little hope that we would ever be able to convey anything to each other since there would be no common basis and we’d probably end up being annihilated.

I don’t doubt that there’s intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. What I question is why it would want anything to do with the human species.

Olly olly oxen free; “The origin of the phrase is unknown. The Dictionary of American Regional English says the phrase may be derived from all ye, all ye outs in free, all the outs in free, or possibly ”calling all the outs in free”; in other words, all who are out may come in without penalty.”

Back when I was a kid 60 years ago, it was “All-ee all-ee in come free!”
