Call me pedantic, IDGAF. The “M” in ATM is “machine”, the "N’ in PIN is “number”. It’s redundant to say “ATM machine” or “PIN number” or “cash money”, ffs.
Ironically, the other day I learned ATMs really don’t like if one puts in the wrong card and repeatedly enters the correct PIN. Over education can still dupe us in the real world.

When giving examples I always throw in “CRT terminal” to see if anyone catches it.
(Though maybe you have to be at least middle-aged to have ever referred to a computer terminal as a “CRT.”)
