I once read that two of the things that can contribute to heartburn are mint and chocolate. Yet I recall often being served one or both (even in the form of a mint-flavored chocolate) along with the check in restaurants.

Reminds me of when I visited some people who shared the “Teaberry” ice cream they loved — unfortunately, it reminded me of Pepto-Bismol, and more unfortunately, I said so.

Actually Roz keeps a bowl of Pepto tablets near the cash register so customers can pop a few as they leave.
