Gotta think about this one. Guessing overtime meant not much rest after the dream.

True story- One time it seemed I was dreaming all night that I was at work and stressed out. I woke up and it was Monday morning!

I really get this one. On many an occasion, I’ve gone to bed with a problem in my head and have woken up with the solution. I’ve often considered I should be paid overtime for that but I know it would never work. They’d just say, how can you prove how much of the time was working on the solution.A colleague of mine also has a note pad on his bedside table for when he wakes up with a solution.

If you’re a salaried employee, you’ll never get paid overtime.

I dream that I am working again, but I can’t find my tools or computer depending on which job I am dreaming about. I wind up wandering thru the company or napping on a couch.

Buys a judge

When I worked for Unisys mainframe computer company, they had a weird advertising campaign showing all the employees with CRT monitors for heads, like we were constantly thinking about solutions. It bombed.

He’s got no room to complain, the company still pays him for the time he’s asleep at work.

That’s simple… go back to sleep, and dream you did a crummy job.
