Will Gil celebrate at the same bar as last year? With the same bartender?

So things have come full cricle.. I only know this from research as I still am badly behind on the barjas run but it’s still neat to have this happen again.

Yawn. With HB, Gil wins this award every year on or about July 11. At least this year he’s wearing a suit. Last year it was a red polo.

P1 The aliens, or the active shooters, turn out big-time to see Gil win his “Major Award” – again.

P2 A liquored up Fistpump Man gets rowdy. He’s just happy to be here and excited to show Beth the Bartender his mad skills at the post-awards banquet after-party.

P3 Cami cleans up good in an attempt to rehabilitate her hard@ss fighting image. As she speaks, she scans the audience thinking, “who wants a piece of me? C’mon, let’s go!”

P3- This was not a consensus COY award for GilPa. At least 5 dissenters have tossed eggs at Cami and Gil.

Luke rushes the stage and grabs the mic like Kanye on Taylor Swift at the VMAs. I had one of the best years of all time! all time!

Now Year 2 B.E. is underway and Gil is … receiving the Jack Berrill Coach of the Year Award. What, you thought someone else was going to get an award named after the guy who created the strip? Get real.

Today is Gil & Mimi’s 38th wedding anniversary. Wonder if she’s attending the Coach of the Year ceremony.

So sad Luke has to quit his prison job. I checked the archives and on July 28 last year he made a deal with Gil that if he did not win coach of the year he would hang up his whistle and never coach on god’s green earth again. Okay. Just kidding. I think we know by now Luke is likely not a man of his word.

Well no wonder Gil always wins. The award is presented by the Milford coaches! And based on the number of flashes, it looks like press from around the world is attending this momentous occasion. Now what will follow? Did Mimi and the kids attend this year? Did they bring Meemaw? Will Gil still get his stiff Old Fashioned from Beth if the old ball and chain is around?
