It’s been 40 years of trickle down economics with resultant increasing wealth inequality, industry concentrations, union busting, tax cuts for the rich, endless wars, deficit explosions, etc.
Add to that the relentless gerrymandering, the Federalist Society picking the Supreme Court, No Compromises, fund raising replacing legislation.
So now, it’s not just Trump. It’s also the decades of McConnell, Gingrich, Hastert, Delay, Boehner, and now McCarthy. And the “freedom” caucus.
.
Of course, Ramirez would have to face more facts than just Trump’s cruelty, endless LIES, and his Treason.
Dear Conservatives,As a fellow conservative, please walk away from this narcissistic man. The election wasn’t stolen, there’s no evidence for that. Yet he continues to play that tune to this day. He does not deal in realities, he only hears his reality, and he has always been that way. That kind of man is too dangerous to be in office, especially the highest office in the country.
I’m not saying to drop your conservative values. I’m asking you to find a better option, preferably one who doesn’t kiss the Trump rear and promises to let him off the hook if he’s found guilty. Truth and justice has always been conservative values. Please show that this is the inner core, and not just a slogan to pull out whenever it’s convenient.
Out of 332 million the best we can do is a rematch between a corrupt narcissist former POTUS and a corrupt, demented current POTUS? Both are way past their “sell by” date, it’s time for a new generation.
As a radically independent moderate, who votes for candidates and positions of both parties, I find it difficult to find any alignment with the current brand of what was the Republican party. THE GQP is dominated by TFG, who lead them to defeat in 2020 and 2022 and looks to three-peat in 2024. In the echo chamber of their families and friends and social media, TFG is LOVED, honored and worshiped and looks to be a very strong primary candidate. And THEN in the General, where his shtick is annoying and old and his insistence of the “2020 steal” and bringing back lovely people like Mike Flynn, surrounded by Boebert, Gaetz, Greene, Jordan, et all will turn off the moderate GOP and the moderate Independent and fire up the Progressives.
I would welcome a conservative party that could actually compete with the liberals without lying. That hasn’t happened in the entire time I have been politically aware, roughly 50 years. I don’t agree with a lot of liberal ideas- abortion tops the list, and would be interested in hearing the views of an HONEST conservative party. I have never had that option and once I understand that I am being lied to, even if the person lying seems to believe what he is saying—- actually even more so if he seems to actually believe it, because that’s nuts, so I have always voted Democratic. An honest option might be nice.
There are reliable reports that many Republicans have changed their party affliction after Jan 6, going to the trouble of letting the local election officials know about it. Since there have to be quite a few people who had the same reaction, but didn’t bother to make it official in the county records, I would say the Republicans have to move left if they want to have a party left. Since they can’t attract any voters from the right—they were convinced the Republicans were going to back their insurrection and are still angry that they didn’t, the only hope they have is to develop a Republican party that will attract moderates
I can feel the liberal demos already putting down President Trump now. They have to do this to justify their ignorance for voting for the imbecile they helped put in office. I know they are sooooooo proud of the so-call president. He is an embarrassment to himself and this Country. He does, however, provide laughs and jokes for other world leaders. His handlers should be ashamed.
Traitor Trump the national security risk is campaigning between his trials for rape, espionage, stealing secrets and attempting to overthrow the USA government with a coup.
If Biden was half the man he claimed to be while running to unseat Oaf Trump, America would be fine. Sadly after being past over in 16 for Killery, Joe chose to cash his chips in for millions in energy cash, never thinking he would get another bite at the apple. Now a vengeful Trump is coming back in a scorched earth 3rd pass, never do that, they are ready for you now.
As long as he has all the dirt that Republican politicians don’t want to see the light of day, he will remain with them until he decides to move on, or dies. Of course, then they have to deal with the fact that at least one of his son’s will inherit that dirt, and continue to hang it over their heads. Something, they could have taken care off, if only a few of them had voted to impeach Orange Traitor in the first place. Something, they had two tries to get it right.
Republicans lost their chance to remove the orange tumor permanently on February 5, 2020 and again on February 13, 2021. The senate overtly protected the traitorous ex-president and allowed him to remain in office. The worst scenario they enabled was that their decision to protect the impeached offender allowed him to remain a contender in future elections. Now they are paying the price

Trump is not a cancer on the elephant’s back. He is a needle in its arm. The GOP bought the Trump drug, and continues its addition to it.
The lethal overdose cannot come soon enough.

But he also says he would vote for Trump for president again if he get the chance.
