Looks like she’s thinking in terms of misinformation. Not a bad thing on many sites that ask for personal data, but which don’t offer anything worth the effort.

An online doc’s patient info sheet asked for phone number, so ok. But then asked for cell number and Soc Sec number and I refused. Form said I couldn’t complete the form unless I provided the information, a form of coercion. So they got the correct numbers of digits for each, but none that they have any connection to me.

I love the job applications that insist that you enter in a year of graduation from high school or college. Allegedly it’s to see how recent your degree is. In reality it’s 22 + years since graduation = you’re too old to work here.

Never reveal real info on my identity unless it is absolutely necessary. Signing into a hospital website they wanted my socsec number. Nay nay!! It went thru anyway. On unimportant sites I use fake stats. Why do they want my age? To target ads?
