Bald at 26, went grey in my 40s. At 71, Old is old news.

I feel pretty good when people tell me I look way younger than my 73 years.

I look 10 years older without my teeth.

I gave up on mirrors many moons ago. My beard is down to my waist, at least the part I can see.

My mom (90 years young, healthy, & active) says she looks in the mirror & wonders: “Who’s that old lady & where did she come from?”

I’m, um, several years into Social Security and I still refer to people my age as “older”, as in, “There was this older lady in front of me at the store…” What’s up with that?

Commented to a friend the other day “When did we get so old?” His response: “I knew we were going to get old, I just didn’t expect it to happen so fast.”

I know that guy in the mirror. It’s hard to deny it.

On the other hand, I don’t think I recognized anyone in my high school yearbook. But then it was the early 70s.
