    What’s the opposite of a libtard? A deep-fried denier.

Second last panel is every comment section of a comic that mentions climate change.

And what the Leftists will say when 50 years from now the climate is the same as it ever was:1. We should have ignored Al Gore and concentrated more on our forte of inciting inter-racial violence2. My neighbor is still making more money than I am. The wealth gap is now totally out of control. 3. How much will be the trade-in value of my $200K Tesla on this used 2004 Ford F-150?4. We need more gun laws.

Still waiting for the science for how cutting carbon emissions will warm the seas to force more water farther inland.

Sea rise, desertification, glacial recession and atmospheric warming will continue until then, as they have since the seas were cooled by the ice age, and as they are maintained cold by polar ice to this very day.

Check a map. Cold ocean currents cause deserts to form, for a lack of water vapor production.

Argue with the facts if you must, and call them deniers.

Former guy petitioned the Scottish government to put a seawall by one of his golf courses. Said that without it, the course would be damaged by rising sea levels caused by climate change. He was turned down.

Yes, they’re trying to control you. Somewhere in a room, there’s a group of evil Government scientists saying, ""Ha ha! We got them to wear FACE MASKS! Bwahahahaha!"

In retrospect, it was pretty silly to assume climate change denying morons would actually be capable of learning a lesson in the first place.

In the news recently, weathermen who mentioned that heat waves are the result of climate change are being threatened by viewers and fired by tv stations.

“E pur si muove” is a good reply to climate change deniers. It confuses them, yet states a truth about the global warming.

How bad does it have to get for these climate deniers realize they could’ve taken steps decades ago when Scientists first sounded the alarm and republicans mostly just ignored the warnings coming as far back as the 80’s ?

I am a political agnostic, a curmudgeon, and a cynic who firmly believes that there are many people who will go to their graves denying physical proof because it doesn’t fit their preconceived notions of the truth – religious, political, and/or scientific.

Even as it affects them personally, they will continue to deny, distort, and declaim.

While I feel that these selfish individuals deserve karmic retribution from Nature, it pains me that those of us who have struggled to make the world a little better and saner place to live must also suffer.

I probably won’t be alive to see the ultimate results of Nature’s revenge and man’s continued perfidy in the name of progress, but I truly fear for my grandchildren and the legacy we had cursed them with!

The ocean off the coast of Florida is warmer than it’s ever been measured and will continue to heat up, which will fuel more and larger hurricanes. I suppose people can always deny that them there hurricanes exist…….

Also: showing dick picks stolen from someone else’s laptop on national television while removing books from libraries because they mention “spin the bottle.” Or anything else to change the subject.

Do you know what would have really helped? If the Klimate Kutie Kadre ever did a single thing, make a single one of the sacrifices that they demand from everyone else. While demanding sacrifices from those already with little to lose, you don’t and won’t give up your SUVs, McMansions or other high-impact aspects of your own lifestyles.

It makes it look like either than you don’t believe the climate panic yourselves or you’re looking for ways to maintain your own privileges at the expense of everyone else.

Very thoughtful stuff. But I’ve read somewhere that the sun is giving off just slightly more heat and light that it had been, and this is contributing to global warming (not that humans help any) and that the solar system is warming as a result. Plus that every 15-20 thousand years, it really pops and goes mini nova. Scary! Causes beautiful auroras and all, but if the sun popped really hard, it would fry all electrical circuits and end civilization as we know it! Plus, what caused the Ice Age

This one made me go back and rewatch “Three Robots: Exit Strategies” from the “Love, Death and Robots” series.

Especially the part where the robot tourist trio land on the remains of an oil platform where the tech billionaires tried to ride out the apocalypse by seasteading as sovereign states with their toys.

“During the collapse, some wealthy humans attempted to create a new civilization in places like this.”

“(….) What did they expect to eat?”

“Fish and sea greens, but by then the seas had been overfished and the food chain was saturated with microplastics.”

“If only they could have learned to eat tiny exfoliating beads.”

Working for FEMA after the Northridge earthquake, one often heard of people whose house (or 2nd, 3rd, 4th house) was flooded and rebuilt multiple times. Again, the Res seems unable to Loquitur Ipsa
