My mother has told the story (more than once) about when I was little lad. I got a brand new windbreaker and apparently I went around proudly proclaiming “I can break wind!” Well, as a young lad, I wasn’t wrong, just not what I thought at that time. LOL!
Well, this is interesting. GC must have altered their page code because using an ad blocker now prevents you from seeing the strip. Opened the page and no comics were visible. After trying a few things, I turned off the ad blocker, there they are. That’s too bad. The ads are intrusive and not worth the hassle.
I have mentioned before that I enjoy watching reruns of “The Adventures of Robin Hood” starring Richard Greene with Alan Wheatley as the Sheriff of Nottingham. Someone once told me that it was Paul Eddington who played the Sheriff and I replied that all the references I find say that Eddington took over the role of Will Scarlet from another actor.
This morning, I watched an episode called “Outlaw Money” with Sid James as the guest star. Paul Eddington had a supportjng role as a Norman nobleman called Count William. I have seen from Wikipaedia that Paul Eddington appeared as different characters in several episodes before taking over the role of Will Scarlet.
I think it is disgusting for all of you here, making jokes about a normal bodily function. You are all acting like a bunch of 12 year old boys. Please look ashamed – all of you. Oh wait, I feel a rumbling sensation in my butt. Uh, oh. Pffffftttttt! How embarrASSing! I’m not just whistling Dixie. I can get halfway through Beethoven’s Fifth before I run out of gas. I feel relieved to be able to vent here. Thank you, all. Now I will pass around that fifth.

“Make water.” is probably not the best choice either.

Good spell? It looks more like his wand is trying to suck in the wind instead of trying to put the brakes on to the wind.

Gives new meaning to "The wind beneath my wings " or indeed “Smoke on the water”….

Double up on it! “Break Wind Breakfast”, “Break Wind Break Dance”, or “Brake Wind Brake Check”. (OK, that last one’s a stretch).

Well Rodney, Wiz has neat magic — at least sometimes. Hard to be good at everything.

It’s funny. Leave it alone. I want to hear that command on the firing line sometime.
