I’ve known people who worship golf…….

It IS possible to be as close to God in church as you are on the golf course. But generally, you don’t need to bring a priest.

Nothing stops the fink from golfing everyday! Hmmmm

Basically that means Noah must just be a perfect athlete to play golf with God. You can’t be an imperfect loser to make the tournament.

I thought he might be about to tell an off color joke.

Besides Sunday, my Dad got a lot of golf in on Wednesday. That was the “short” shopping day, when most of the stores in our town closed at noon.

I should have read this before reading Tank McNamara.

I fear that this sermon has no effect on the Fink.

I didn’t read this as the Fink taking his own priest to the golf course. I read it as the priest was doing an outdoor service and the Fink got in the way. Otherwise, they would have coordinated the service ahead of time to accommodate the Fink’s golf. Either way, even as an atheist, I am slightly offended by this strip today. Just slightly.

The colourists had to work on a Saturday, a Sabbath for some, to give us Sunday’s colour comic. Just conjecture on my part.

I feel sorry for all of you who do not believe in God and the Bible, his Word. God is the only one who can do away with all the evil we see in the world and bring peace and life forever on a perfect earth.
