Perhaps an impromptu “wake” for the fallen castle is in order. The kittens may need to process the “grief” or “disappointment” of the loss of the castle and remembering how each contributed and how wonderful it was would help. And then on to bigger things! (so says the woman that hums taps as she pours the yeast that died because the water or milk was too hot down the drain. Lets me move past the failure and restart the process for the bread or “cake” I’m making. :) )
Nothing is really permanent. Part of what makes sandcastles free and fun is the lack of long-term commitment to what you once wanted; to maintenance; to loyalty
“We are like children building a sand castle. We embellish it with beautiful shells, bits of driftwood, and pieces of colored glass. The castle is ours, off limits to others. We’re willing to attack if others threaten to hurt it. Yet despite all our attachment, we know that the tide will inevitably come in and sweep the sand castle away. The trick is to enjoy it fully but without clinging, and when the time comes, let it dissolve back into the sea.”
That’s a lesson people need to learn. We get hit with hurricanes things are destroyed, yet they rebuild in the same place using the same codes. A few times people were forced to do better & those buildings survived, but then the standers fell again & back to where we were.

It’s okay, kits. You can still bury your poop in it.

Sometimes things don’t go as planned… thankfully we can always try again and learn from previous experiences.

Aw, don’t cry, kittens – there’s so much more sand on the beach for you to build again. And the next one will be even better!

Plus you can make it farther away from the waves.

I love that the little female white kitten is such a daddy’s girl. Growing up to be like Snow is a fantastic goal for her.

Build it better, kittens, and have fun doing it. Sand castles aren’t strong by nature.

The Beatles: Hey, Jude
Hey kits, it’s not so bad
Take a sad place, and make it better
Remember to keep your dreams intact,
And it’s a fact, you can make it better!
…….
Hey kits, just don’t give up
You can make something that’s even better,
Remember to listen to your day Snow,
And he can show
How you can make it better!
…….
So when the waves ruin your plans,
Please understand
The next wave may be the one you really need
And you know it will be fine,
And you may find,
You can still do your best and shine!
…….
Hey, kits, don’t be too sad
You have got this, now you can get it
Remember, just keep on doing your best
And all the rest will get better and better!
Better, and better, better Ah!
