My Twitter feed is depressing because a lot of it is about the New York Mets.

I’ve never had an account; I don’t need to know what the Twits say.

X marks the spot.

Again, Pig has a great idea!

Twitter? What’s that?

No Farcebook, no Twitsters, no Tiktork. Never had them, never will. Life is very free.

Having the screen refreshing is still running down your battery.

Pig, I know “X” actly what you mean!

This makes me think of something similar I do with my TV. I have a channel programmed in that is just completely blank/black. No content/sound of any kind. It’s amazing how refreshing it can be as you flip through channels looking for something worth watching, to have a channel with nothing on it. Very serene.

News Flash: No Tweet(s) is (are) good Tweets

The website formerly known as Twitter needs a new brand and verb. How about “X-Critter” where you can “X-crete” your best brain farts. (I killed my Twitter account soon after Musk took over. NOT missed.)

Since Musk decided to change the name, the best thing I’ve heard is this….“Tweets” shall now be known as “X-Craments”

Y’all are all the “social” I need in media.

Elon is now using an Israeli firm to collect paying Twits’ info. Why people want all their info everywhere is beyond me, but I encourage you to do it as then no one will bother to work to get mine!!

I don’t read Twitter. Its filled with too much trolls and cyber bullies.

There are still some good people left on X-Twitter. It is too bad the worst of the worst have been focused on and the people with good will are ignored, which makes is what making this country’s media so toxic in general.

To counteract that negativity, here’s some positivity.

My Twitter wasn’t so bad lately. But it took some years of blocking – I have some tenthousands of blocked accounts in my profile.

It wasn’t that much work as it sounds since there is… was some tool I found what could be used to block automatically. I used it on all accounts following one account if I decided to block it because of its particular nastiness.

I follow people I like who share my interests in reading, movies, music, cars, etc. …90% of the tweets I see are positive and a good chunk are humorous

Once I had filtered out all the annoying dumb posts, there was only stuff from a Korean ice skating couple in Dallas left for some reason unbeknownst to me, and since I don’t care about ice skating, I deleted both FB and Tw.

Twitter is very stressful

Refreshing a blank screen will give you… a blank screen.

Fortunately you don’t have to join T(X)witter to get entertainment from it. Articles in news and humor sites link to it all the time. Giving you the highlights and lowlights and the frequent dimbulbs putting their foot in their mouth.

To borrow from Despair.com,

Never have so many people with so little to say said so much to so few.

Even better, Pig: delete the app. That way, you don’t even have to look at the Blank Screen….

Truly one of Pastis’ best.

And if Pig combines YouTube with Twitter and Facebook, he can have the ultimate social media platform—YouTwitFace.
