My closest friend is ill with covid right now. He’s been driving his son to medical appointments after the kid had a serious accident about a month ago. The son picked up covid at one of his appointments and spread it to the family. I’m hoping for the best. I’ve already lost two cousins and another good friend to covid over the last two years.

There is a rush by Republicans to purchase enough bleach. You know it makes sense.

A republican kid whose parents won’t let him wear a mask will infect everyone.

It’s not just Covid. Whenever a group of people are put together in a tight space disease spreads. Not only schools, but I served 20+ years in the US Navy. Ships and submarines prove this every time they deploy.

My husband is on immunotherapy for prostate cancer and just completed RT for the same. And he has had an aortic valve replacement (he’s doing well on all counts). We never STOPPED wearing masks and stay up-to-date on our vaccinations.

Being a doc and medical educator, I pity the first foolish MAGAite who dares to say anything to me about wearing said mask. Especially for the new orifice I will rip for them…

Let the Anti-maskers have their way and not mask up; once again they will do the Sane part of the populace a huge favor, by letting COVID cull at least Some the idiots from the herd before the 2024 Presidential Election.

Almost certainly, they will be anti-vaxxers as well- but those who believe in science and are vaxxed, even If infected by one of these cretins, will probably be quite a mild case, rather than the fatal ones the non-vaxxed are so prone to.

In my humble opinion at least, Every MAGA voter removed from the polls by their own stupidity, while it might be saddening for their family and friends, is a plus for America as a whole.

According to the CDC, total deaths up until July 2023 for those under 19 were 1,847, out of total deaths of 1,136,052, or .16%. I don’t think the kids are the ones who should be grimacing.
