Yeah, sure, he “forgot”. He probably just wanted her out of the house for a while

Worse yet, they remember things incorrectly and refuse to accept anything but their “truth”. Even when others collaborate your recollection. Memories are not incorruptible.

Guess Earl just realized he would loose this checkers game…

It can be a real gift to not remember everything.

Wives have photographic memories. They can even remember things from long ago that did not actually happen.

If he doesn’t keep talking to Clyde, he’ll get back to his game and forget that he remembered. Then he’ll forget her a second time.

Earl probably forgot where he put it. Mine is charged every night, but I do not use it very much.

Opal remembers everything, so he is NOT going to live this down.
