When you make a deal to gain power with people who have extreme ideas, the piper will have to be paid. Unfortunately, it is likely the whole country will pay the price for that power lust.

One of the elephants is labeled “Moderates,” there ARE no moderates on the right. There’s the crazy republicons that are running things and the “weak, timid, frightened to lose their next election so they go along with the crazies” republicons but there are no longer any moderates willing to stand up to the lunatics and the magats.

Does anyone really believe that this would have happened if the hitler loving, very first American dictator wannabe, the boy toy of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin had not been impeached twice?

BTW since ANY house member can call for a vote to remove little kevin from the speakership thanks to the crazies forcing that provision to keep him on a leash, why don’t the Dems do that? This would be the perfect time. Force him to do another round of sniveling to the crazies when they are really feeling their power and then offer him a segment of Dem votes IF he shuts down the crazy wing. The same fear of having the rug pulled out from under him might let the Dems pull his strings just like the crazies do.

Those elephants should have been labeled “right wing” and “extreme right wing”.

Labels should read, “Far Right Wing” and “Ultra-right whack jobs”

Why do relatively reasonable Republicans tolerate this? Because they believe it allows them to hang on to power. The detriment to the country as a whole is just collateral damage. The price we all pay for their selfish cowardice.

When you rise to power by sitting on fences, you probably get used to having certain body parts suffer damage from time to time.

The few moderates of the GQP should use the right to vacate, otherwise they are the silent section of the party enabling the crazies on the far right to dominate their party.

‘Lying like a dead dog’: Matt Gaetz insults McCarthy while being confronted by MSNBC host

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) went after Speaker Kevin McCarthy on MSNBC Wednesday, saying that the California Republican is a “liar” and a wimp in several different ways. Speaking to Ari Melber, Gaetz began by saying McCarthy is “lying like a dead dog” about the reason he and McCarthy are feuding. Gaetz swears he wants term limits and that McCarthy agreed to it in their deal in January. While Gaetz said several months ago that he would release the agreement the two men reached, he still hasn’t done it. Now he’s saying he doesn’t have it and that Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is the one who has the paperwork.

“Moderates.” Hah! “A Little Less Crazy,” maybe.
