Alan is the best of that crew.

A true hero. But I can understand him. He is more simple and the things that had happen were too much for him. And now loosing his half arm to nothing were maybe a bit too much. He just don t want anymore of this crazy things. So he rescued the other two from the wall and get himself snapped.But that will give Kid another thing to think about. He will think he had helped to kill him, because he had interupped the arm amputation.

Dang …

Pity, the Zero Scalpel could have freed him from the wall in a few seconds. That hold-up and foolish argument cost poor Alan his life.

A hero to the end.

Say it isn’t so!!!

I blame the kid for stopping him.

Unless that ‘snap’ was him snapping what’s left of his arm out of the wall, and taking some of the wall with it.

Oh, dear.

Another tragic ending to one of our friends…just a SNAP, and he’s gone. =(

Can we leave before the murder walls kill everyone?

Sigh. Life for Life.

I’d hoped I was wrong, but there was only enough time to throw them out of the way. AND, Alan turned and faced into the wall so the end would be quick. #$&%*!

Alas Alan, we hardly knew ye.

It certainly looks like what we were all afraid of has happened, although Aaron is definitely more than capable of surprising us. Gee, Duffy sure is having a bad time lately.

Duffy needs to stop panicking and start thinking. Terrance could have saved Alan but Duffy’s interference wasted time Alan didn’t have.

Alan is now probably bob, bob, bobbing along as a soul bubble on the way to The Well of Souls Recycle Depot….I hope he got saved somehow; but seems unlikely…..

So, will Alan encounter Marx at the Fountain of Souls? Or is Alan not good enough for that? Seems to me he easily is good enough.

Now Duffy has, through his arrogant stupidity, killed Alan and perhaps his little brother. At the least, he is responsible for his brother being lost. So more guilt fest from Duffy. And I don’t think anyone is going to put up with it.

All in all, he’s just another brick in the…

Duffy: classic case of a loose cannon.

I think that it’s a bit unfair to blame Duffy for this. Although he was introduced as being a wise-ass, he’s matured a lot during this journey. Duffy was distraught over Alan and also not fully aware of Terrance’s intention. And, he’s still just a kid; so he lacks experience. It is possible to blame Wally, who decided to bring Alan along in the first place. But if he didn’t Alan might have already been engulfed with the rest of Eden by now anyway.

SPLAT! Like a bug. Just be glad elephants don’t fly.

It could be worse, the walls could behave like “Weeping Angels”.

WHY? WHY DID ALAN HAVE TO DIE?

WHY???

I realize tragic moments like this make for great storytelling…, but I am so going to miss the elephant in the room.

Mourn later….run….now! Survive and you’ll honor him.

? If the SNAP! is reality erasing the cardoodle space, then run where? It seems evident that everything in their world will be erased.

Too bad there wasn’t more time for experimentation. It would be interesting to find out if the people lost in these snaps were really imbedded in rock (how can two things occupy the same volume without some kind of explosion?) or just being transferred to some other reality. Asking Alan if he can feel or wiggle his fingers would be top on my list.

I don’t think I’ve ever come across a “funny animal” comic as serious and heartbreaking as this one. You look at the characters and expect them to get into silly gags, but nothing could be further from the truth. It’s a surreal adventure that is as fascinating as it is unsettling.

How do you stop an elephant??? It’s a SNAP! :/

Alan…sigh… you will be missed.
