Why is age an issue for Biden, who is fit, trim, energetic, rides bicycles but not for Trump, who is only slightly younger but is an obese, bloated, cholesterol-laden hot air gasbag? Biden doesn’t have to lie to be able to report a credible weight of under 180 while Trump’s absurd claims of weighing only 215 pounds are rightly met with howls of derisive laughter.

Some of the Biden accomplishments, despite slim legislative margins and unprecedented obstruction:

    • Lowering costs of families’ everyday expenses.

    • Allowing Medicare to use its market leverage to negotiate pharmaceutical prices (like the VA, and every other country or large corporation).

    • More People working than at any other time in American History.

    • Bringing more manufacturing jobs back to America — more “Made in America.”

    • Restoring international alliances undermined by Trump and restoring America’s international stature.

    • Rescued Trump’s failing economy and changed the course of the pandemic.

    • Lowered the deficit each year of his presidency

    • Brought inflation down from 9% following Trump’s disruption of the supply chain to just over 3%

    • Brought unemployment down from Trump’s failed double digits to under 4%

    • Rebuilding our Infrastructure (that lying Republicans who voted against it are now dishonestly claiming credit for in their ads — stolen valor).

    • Historic expansion of benefits and services for veterans exposed to toxic chemicals.

    • Was actually ELECTED president by getting more votes than the runner-up, by a margin of MORE THAN SEVEN MILLION, not merely appointed by an antiquated system initially concocted to ensure the perpetuation of slavery.

Stands to reason: He MUST have worn himself out in his first term, being so old already.

My father turned 86 last month. He was a brilliant engineer but dementia has taken a firm grip and continuing its relentless march.

6 years ago he could walk 3 miles no issue and did so daily. Now he is lucky to go 1/4 mile and need several breaks. I recognize both of these issues in Mr. Biden. I understand electing a president is picking a team, and Mr. Biden has an excellent one, but are we getting a Reagan 2nd term here?

LOL! It’s interesting he chose this illustration, as Biden no longer uses the longer, higher steps while getting on/off AF1. He is so frail that he uses the lower baby steps. Before long they’ll probably have to put him in a lift chair.

It’s not necessarily a matter of “too old,” rather the physical and mental status for the job. The deniers claim it’s nothing more than a, get this, speech impediment. Uh huh………

Up to 70% of the country thinks we are headed in the wrong direction on a long list of issues. To name a few the crash of Bud Lite is a fairly clear indication that foisting Woke on us is not all that popular and even democrat voters shake their heads in disbelief regarding open borders.

The darn media. Hopefully more and more will tune them out, even though their both-sides mania is supposed to help ratings. I do think we need Gen Z to save us, and they seem to not be beholden to MSM.

And here I have been thinking all these years that Mike Luckovich lived in the real world. Regardless of his accomplishments (real and perceived), Biden is a liability and Democrats support him at their peril, and peril for the nation. A leader can’t just get policy right, he has to be a strong voice that people want to follow. Biden might be sharp as a tack still, but if he cannot overcome the perception of himself as old and doddering and communication-challenged (and he can’t), then it doesn’t matter. The possibility of Republican back in the WH and what that will mean to the SCOTUS alone should be enough to scare Dems straight, but apparently not.

I saw someone this morning talking about President Biden. He’s spoken to several foreign dignitaries who have been totally shocked upon meeting President Biden. After watching American news reports they thought he would be confused and so exhausted he could barely function. Instead they meet someone who is totally focused, and highly energetic for someone his age, as well as always being one step ahead of them in negotiations. Also, as they asked this morning on Morning Joe: “If not Biden, who?” That’s the question nobody who gripes about his age seems able to answer.

They can Ad-Hominem President Biden and the Democrats all they want, but not even the National Enquirer minded Republican Party can ignore or avoid the tremendous successes of the Biden administration.

Every election in the foreseeable future is Team Democracy v. Team Fascism. The GOP is flat out telling us what it will do as soon as it gets control of the Oval Office and Senate, to go along with the House and SCOTUS (and shame on SCOTUS): end our Constitutional Republic, end Democracy. Trump, Xi, Putin, the new Big Three.

Wait, didn’t I just say NOT to try to make Biden into Superman? I mean, overall I’m happy with him, want more, but happy, especially considering that the Right is operating in PETULANT mode……………………but I SPECIFICALLY directed that people NOT make Biden into Superman.

Mike, it’s you who is showing your age. The superheroes of yesteryear flew up from the ground, and like Superman, caught the plane, saving it from crashing. The superheroes of today, what younger toonists envision, beam themselves into the cockpit of the aircraft, take hold of the controls and bring the aircraft into a soft landing. Our Joe is more than capable to handle the controls of the current fly-by-wire aircraft and he may even redirect the aircraft to make its destination, as planned. Age is irrelevant.

“I’m an Australian, and I’m jealous that you have such a skilled statesman as Biden as your leader. Your economy is doing better than just about everywhere because of him. And he’s acting on climate change…which is what freaks the Republicans out the most (being funded by fossil fuels, as they are). You’re lucky to have him.”

It’s not about age, never was about being 80. Joe has fallen off a cliff behavior wise, yelling, whispering, mumbling and stumbling through the last 3 years, all with the MSM running interference. Yesterday the citadels walls crumbled with WaPo, MSDNC’s morning joe, not 2 sharpton calling for both joe & commala to step away. Getting rid of boat anchor harris will tick off black females, keep her and lose bigly. Democrats beat and prosecuted Trump, now what? What was the plan after that….crickets.

This is part of an orchestrated “big lie” campaign. Their hope is that if they keep hammering us with it, even the reality-oriented folks might start to think it’s true.

    It’s not true.

I’m personally so sick of the hypocrisy of Republican’s tearing apart Joe Biden for being too old, when Mitch McConnell is older at 81, and Chuck Grassley turns 90 in a few days!
