Again coloring in the artwork makes it difficult to follow. Usually Milford is the red and black uniforms so for a moment I though Pedro was playing for Milford. I don’t know any high school team where a player is allowed to give a ball to a fan. There must not be many people at the game if he can hear Keri at that distance. Panel 2 dialogue is Milford After Dark Material.

At some point the they’ll need to figure out that “Milford wins!” every week isn’t particularly compelling writing, right?

Wait, did Pedro enter the transfer portal and switch to Milford? Probably got a lot of NIL money from Vito. Or did Rod draw Milford’s jersey instead of Valley Tech? Or did the colorist mess up (that never happens!). Or is Keri dating someone on Milford and someone on VT? These questions and many others will be answered on the next episode of, Soap. Tomorrow, Pedro gets benched, like forever, by Gil, to keep him from playin’ tonsil hockey with his daughter, “…in front of the whole g*****n school…” after every play that he makes during a game. Keri gets even with Gil by having all sorts of unprotected s*x with Pedro, gets pregnant, (…while Pedro sez “it ain’t mine…no way is it mine”…) and creates an entirely believable story arc for Henry with minimal effort.

We have had such a good run with the correct jersey colors. Alas…

I’d laugh if Love Story was conceived from today’s plot. Oliver Wendell Barrett IV dating Gil’s daughter, now that’s a storyline. A Harvard Law Schoolgraduate sleeping under the same roof with Ericka. The possibilities.

Love is never having to love a plot that is terminally hopeless.

So much today: When do they shoot a gun during a football game? When do high school players get to give away the ball? When do high school players get to make out in the stands during a game?
