Looks like Dakota is more and more intrigued by the mysteries of the SphinxCat.

I’d just leave him there.

I don’t think I’ve ever noticed Dana’s signature before. It’s usually well blended into the colorful background. With no background, it stood out like a sore thumb.

Trade secret implies that going back and forth between rooms is something cats have intentionally started doing to humans, perhaps as a psychological test to earn more freedom by being let outside more often, or in this case for Maaaaaaow to see how loyal Phoebe, Marigold, and Dakota are willing to be.
