Long time readers will remember that it was Mike who wore the bug costume and not Elizabeth. However, Mike is not around to bug April, so we have a slight change in continuity to further the humor.

Indeed she is. I suppose that really isn’t very “Lady” like of her.

Bugging in the literal sense of the word no doubt.

Kind of off topic, but I’ve always wondered why Lynn drew April as looking like a mini Michael. Even as a baby, Elizabeth looked like a little girl. April looks like Mike with slightly longer hair

Does that little one ever grow up enough during the run of the strip to stop mispronouncing words and names?

At 70, I have the easiest costume of all. I sit on the front porch and yell at kids. I’m a “Grumpy Old Man.” Don’t ya love it when life and fantasy come together.

Both when I was growing up and when I was raising my own, being a tattletale was a huge no-no. The tattler usually got into bigger trouble than the person being tattled on. Of course there were exceptions for real emergencies or dangerous situations, but that did not come up very often.
