Gorrell is in favor of absolute personal freedumb except when it is given to …
A Democrat
Or a woman
Or a person with more skin melanin than his relatives
I’m in favor of requiring our ligiscritters to do their work in the nude. Can’t hide behind THAT! And besides, it would likely fix the problem that folks have with our evolving gerontocracy.
Yeah, pretty sure Fetterman’s outfit wasn’t old and tore up. Perhaps, it was too casual for the job, but he’s done a far better job than any Repub in an overpriced suit.
It certainly, isn’t as important as having insurrectionist Repub politicians in office that haven’t resigned or been removed for their part in trying to overthrow the USA’s government in order to install their Dear Orange Leader.
Lauren Boebert dresses professionally every day and she had her t1t$ out at a musical. MGT is one of the most morally disgusting humans I’ve witnessed and she dresses professionally every day. Senator Menendez had money stuffed in his professional clothing from all the bribes he took. Clarence Thomas dresses professionally and he’s the most hateful man to sit on the Supreme Court in my lifetime.
How you dress means nothing. How you act means everything. I’ll take Fetterman and his hoodie over any Republican in the House or Senate today, thank you.
What’s the difference between Senator Menendez and Joe Biden? How much grift they take. One has $480,000.00 in cash, mostly still in the envelopes he received them in, hidden in a closet at his home, along with 3 gold bars and a Mercedes convertible, the other took millions. They both sold out America.
I don’t really disagree with Mr. Gorrell’s point. Despite being a supporter of Fetterman, I was not a fan of the way he dressed during his campaign for Senate and I don’t think lowering the standards for attire in the Senate is a good idea. But that is relatively minor. That is getting fixated on style over substance. To me, the bigger issue is the conduct of Senators while in the Senate Chamber and while performing their official duties. I don’t refer to the policy differences. I mean the demeanor when debating the issues and the civility between members of different parties. I mean the way the members behave during a state of the union address. (The obvious one that comes to mind is the “You lie” during Obama’s speech). That is a far greater problem to worry about than how they look while behaving inappropriately.
Bob, Bob, Bob… Your grossly hypocritical cause is failing spectacularly, and your walls are crumbling. Would help if you were funny. Got fallback plans?
There has always been a double standard in dress. Traditionally, in many offices, women could essentially wear what they wanted whereas there was a very narrow choice for men. And the men, having to wear superfluous outerwear and neck constrictors, want the air conditioning turned down low, causing the women, who don’t have such requirements, to freeze.
There is a gigantic difference between the TRAPPINGS of respect and dignity and those actual things.
NY Post columnist John Levine dressed exactly like the slob Fetterman, tried to get a table at several NYC restaurants, and was denied entry due to their dress codes prohibiting athletic wear.
Think how many wise, compassionate, thoughtful, sensitive, competant, intelligent and, above all, qualified, people do not run for office because they don’t have a closet full of suits just to make people like Bob Gorrell happy.
Time to panic? I think so! BTW – Don’t forget, the W.P. is no friend to conservatives. An ABC/Washington Post poll that found former President Trump ahead of President Biden by 10 points among registered voters in a hypothetical rematch. Some criticized the Post and said they were dismissing the poll, published on Sunday, as it was very unfavorable towards the president.Talk about getting their panties in a bunch.
If this is how the rest of the world sees us, and it is only a small portion of the largely negative view they do have., it is not Fetterman and the way he dresses that has sullied our reputation on the international stage. It is the policies of the Republican Party since Reagan at least, has reduced this nation to nothing more than a third world first world country.
He stole classified documents, then lied and said he didn’t, then confessed and tried to hide them somewhere else.
tuberville is STILL holding up promotions for hundreds of generals and admirals
70,000 child care providers could close as federal aid ends
And once again, the government is facing ANOTHER shutdown. The last one, trump did, because he wanted 5 BILLION dollars to build that STUPID, USELESS wall. It was the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. Like most of his deals, it fell through, he didn’t get the money, and it cost 3 BILLION dollars. And this one will be worse, and it’s being brought down by spiteful republicans who will continue to get paid.
But THIS is what you’re making a cartoon about.Because you CAN NOT admit what the republican party has become.
yea hoodies are disgusting… as opposed to the big orange pu$$y grabber in the extra long tie who loves playing ‘stinky finger’ with porn stars while his wife is pregnant…

It’s really stupid of Biden not to step aside for someone younger or to open up a race for his place. It’s like the dems want Trump to get back in.

Gorrell had NO problem whatsoever with the invasion of Iraq that was total LIE and resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths, all unnecessary.
Gorrell had absolutely NO problem with a million American deaths from covid.
