Only comments that I make to the TV are while watching reruns of âMatch Gameâ. Trying to decide the best response to what the contestants say and comparing to the six panelists ! ! !
I love cornball humor. As some above have mentioned they do, I turn the TV volume off and do the voices myself. My son and I enjoy doing it together (I skewed his sense of humor early on.) âWhose Line Is It, Anywayâ does this stunt occasionally, and I get out of breath laughing. I first enjoyed this type of thing with the early â60s TV show, âFractured Flickers,â that tickled my third-grader funny bone (and maybe sprained it permanently):
Oooohhhh, yeah! Iâm particularly vocal on Judge Judy,Tribunal Justice & jeopardy! My sister says I have problems but I say I CANâT STAND STOOPID! Itâs just as simple as thatâŠ..;-)
We have episodes of some shows (lots of Law & Order SVU among others) memorized and have been known to quote along with them, and add commentary. Also certain movies, particularly âItâs a Wonderful Lifeâ and âThe Ten Commandments.â
Joshua: Did He speak to you as a man?
Moses: No, he spoke to me as a BUSH; werenât you listening?!

And throw things at the TV during the news.
Yeah, I kept my old CRT TV too heavy to move but itâs unbreakable.
CRT= Cathode Ray Tube. All the acronyms and words are twisted now.
Now get off my lawn!

I do NOT talk back to the TV. I do voiceovers and commentary. SO much fun turning a rerun of a cop show like Walker: Texas Ranger into a comedy.

I used to love Mad Movies. They took old films and lipsynched funny dialog to them.
