If it’s third and one , wouldn’t the ball be at the one? Most people would just say 3rd and goal. I don’t think the authors have ever actually WATCHED sports at all.

I think there was a fumble in P2. Everyone appears to be searching the ground. Unless someone lost a contact lens and everyone’s showing good sportsmanship to help look for it. And speaking of looking for it, you don’t have to go far to look for today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

QB usually says Hut to indicate to the center to hike the ball, not hand off to the running back. Also, it looks like the QB number is 45 the little line coming of the downward line. Most QBs numbers are to 19 the last one with an non lower number I believe was John Hadle # 21
