It’s lovely, but I don’t really feel that a fall day is any better than a lovely day in spring or summer. And it certainly can’t beat the day I was lying on a hilltop, watching snow fall on the forest below, when a baby deer came and stood a foot away from me for about ten minutes.

Yes, beautiful. I would, however, like to admonish Horace to watch out for chiggers. Sitting on a log this time of year is really asking for trouble.
