If the driver brings me some of those donuts then all’s well.

I wanted a pizza delivered from a store about a mile from here. I called in, and my order was taken by a man in India. It was then delivered by Door-dash.

And then suddenly, you get the “Sorry something has happened to your order” message. “Check back in two days if it still hasn’t been delivered.”

Sounds about right. More details than necessary. At least it didn’t say that the driver stopped to go to the bathroom. Then the driver is on their way, but forgot to wash their hands.

The driver couldn’t get in the gate, we will try again tomorrow.

If only someone could have delivered the donuts to the driver while he was on the way.

Shopping on line for anything is more annoying than just to go yourself!

I hate those texts. It’s amazing how many orders are shipped in the middle of the night.

My last two orders on Amazon had “problems”, and were eventually cancelled. That Amazon Prime convenience is looking a lot less convenient now.

This is the exact reason why the carriers don’t like tracking.

I ordered a pizza just last week online. No Indians, no AI. Picked it up 20 minutes later. Got the stink eye from the delivery guys who were sitting around. I live about 3 minutes away from the shop.

I’ve watched the amazon truck progress on the map, 6 stops away, 5… then it paused a half an hour on the map – at the McDonald’s down the street.

Sometimes it seems that way.

I live in a small rural community on the North Coast of California. UPS is less than one mile from my home, yet, I get an email at 6am that my package will be delivered by 9pm. Twice the package arrived after 10pm. The drivers must be stopping for naps, donuts, pizza, visiting friends. In less than 5 minutes I can drive to UPS and back home. I hate it when my orders are shipped using UPS.

Following your order or package delivery is only for those with absolutely no other form of entertainment.

Your order has been sent to a different city than what’s on the tag. Really happened to me.

DING! “The driver is too lazy to walk into the apartment building and place the package outside your clearly labeled door which matches the address on the package. The package is outside on the steps so it can be porch-pirated or you can get soaked by the rain. Please rate our service.”
