No we don’t. The comment about cutting a foot off one end of a blanket, sewing it on the other end and thinking you have a longer blanket applies here.
Technically, you’re not getting an extra hour but are just getting back the hour you lost in the spring. Whether or not you actually want that hour back is a “you” issue.
What makes the biannual clock adjustments so illogical is that it is an anachronism, i.e., the reason for it being done in the first place no longer exists…. providing an extra hour of daylight in the afternoon for children to work the family farm after the school day ends.
The real irony is that moving the clock ahead was a good idea but moving it back makes no sense whatsoever.
But when I was young and living at home it was great. At curfew time the clock went back and gave me an extra hour. And the bars conveniently stayed open for an extra hour too!

Does it count as overtime?

In AZ that just means we can’t see new GoComics until an hour later.

Better than an extra hour of the last 3 years.

That’s not the real question. The real question is: “Will we be able to stand an extra hour this time next year”?

It’s heck, I say. Get the correct time at 1-303-499-7111. Or see your favorite HAM radio operator.
