In Milford, OH the hopes of a state championship are dead after the Eagles suffered an excruciating 10-9 second round playoff loss to visiting Mason. Milford finishes the season at 11-1 overall and first in the Valley (Eastern Cincinnati Conference). The loss leaves Milford in a Count Thorpula like deadened trace as the life has been sucked out of the season of dreams.

In all reality, next Tuesday The Rolling Stones come visit their old friend Gil Thorp. They perform some songs off of their new album with Gil singing lead on one of them !
